Associate Professor
Dr. Anupama B.N is an Associate Professor of English in the Department of Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru. Her areas of interest include American Literature, Diasporic writings, African American literature, and Afghan literature. She holds an M.Phil. Degree in English Literature from Madurai Kamaraj University and Ph.D. in English from REVA University, Bengaluru. She has presented scholarly research papers at acclaimed National and International conferences and has published many research articles in reputed peer-reviewed and UGC-approved journals. She has conducted various levels of English language training sessions for African, Srilankan, Chinese, Thai and Korean students. She has effectively trained several Indian students on the Cambridge University pattern – BEC, KET, PET and British Council Examination, IELTS. She holds the position of external member of the Board of Studies and Board of Examiner at New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru and Board of Examiner at M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. As an academician, she has 16 years of teaching experience. She cherishes her life as a teacher, bearing an everlasting impact on her students. She desires to touch the lives of many more students in the future and contribute to enrich their lives.
