Dr Ardra N G

Assistant Professor

Dr Ardra N G is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at DLHS with a specialisation in politics of aesthetics and culture. She earned her Ph.D. in Political Science from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. Additionally, she holds an M.Phil. and MA in Political Science from JNU and a BA (Hons) Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi. Before joining DLHS, she has worked at several eminent institutions including the Christ University, Bangalore, The Central University of Kerala, Capital Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, Sahapedia: An Online Encyclopedia (as a research coordinator), Hindu College and Miranda House College, University of Delhi. Her areas of interest include the Indian politics, social movements, political philosophy from the Global South, modernities and emotional and intellectual histories of South Asia and pedagogy of politics. She has published her works on the relationship between politics and culture in the context of the left intellectual engagements in India in prestigious journals. Additionally, she is also a reviewer for Sage. She has presented her research in various international and national seminars and conferences and has delivered invited lectures at different colleges and universities in Kerala. She also writes poetry in Malayalam and English and translates poetry and prose across English, Malayalam and Hindi for reputed publishers.
