Dr Nayantara Dutt

Assistant Professor

Nayantara Dutt is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Department of Commerce, MAHE Bangalore. She received her PhD in Economics and Social Sciences from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. Her research interests lie at the interface of urban economics and labour economics. She is currently working on themes related to skilled migration, education and gender wage differentials. Previously she has worked as an assistant professor of economics at B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics. Dr. Nayantara has taught courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, labour economics and statistics. Prior to commencing her doctoral studies, she has worked as a research assistant at ISER, University of Essex, UK and as a senior associate at HSBC India. She holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Essex, UK and a B.A. in Economics from Symbiosis College, Pune University.
