CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Dr. O Grace Ngullie is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Policy at the Manipal Academy of Higher Education Bengaluru Campus. She primarily teaches Law and Public Policy, Public Administration and Policy, and offers an open elective course on Identity Politics and Public Policy.

    Dr. Ngullie is also a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Social and Economic Change in Bengaluru. She completed her MPhil and PhD from the Centre for the Study of Law and Governance at Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi.

Area of Interest

Public Policy, Welfare, Politics, Philosophy, Village Republics, Nature and Technology.

Area of Research

She has conducted policy research on various topics, such as the Public Distribution System and Cash Transfers for Food Security, Self-Help Groups for Women's Empowerment, and Gender studies in the Indian Administrative Service. These research projects were supported by fellowships, including the UGC Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (2009-2014), ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship (2015-2016), Public Policy Scholarship at The Hindu Centre for Politics and Public Policy (2018), and Research Fellowship at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (2018-2019). She was also a Qualitative Researcher for Paid and Unpaid Care in Urban India (2022), funded by ILO.
