CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

    Dr Teddy Andrews J is Head of Department of Social and Health Innovation and  an Associate Professor - MSW Programme at PSPH, MAHE.  He also serves as a faculty at the Manipal-FAIMER International Institute for Leadership in Inter-Professional Education. Besides, he has served as a coordinator for student affairs and career counselling cell at PSPH. His research interests lies in ageing, mental health, adolescent wellbeing, social work education and palliative care.

    As part of his academic responsibilities, he teaches in different courses including mental health, counselling, and research methods for students in social work master’s program. He supervises students on their research and field internships.  

    Besides, he is a recognised guide for doctoral candidates and serve on doctoral advisory committee within MAHE and other Universities.

  • NUFFIC Fellowship to pursue Ph.D at CAPHRI, Faculty of Health, Medicine and Life Sceinces, Maastricht University, the Netherlands awarded in the year 2016.

  • Fellowship on leadership in inter-professional education by MAHE-FAIMER International Leadership Institute on Inter-professional Education awarded in the year 2018.
