B.Sc. students can get opportunities in industry, but it is advised to pursue post-graduate programs for career development.

After B.Sc. can opt for Masters program for getting into research, industry or academic jobs.

Though the fundamentals of physics and mathematics are covered PCB is preferred.

Course is tuned to enable students to pursue Master degree of their choice- India or abroad.

Any Masters program of your choice and preferably M.Sc. in Life sciences.

M.Sc. MBT focuses more on the biotechnological aspects related to human health.

M.Sc. MBH program focuses on the genetics and molecular biology aspects.

Both programs provide hands on training.

Emerging field for data analysis in molecular biology and health informatics.

Project can be done in the last semester either:

a) At MSLS- with excellent facilities.

b) With collaborating institutes abroad with /without fellowship:

University of Queensland, QUT, Flinders University(Australia),Joseph Fourier University(France),Maastricht University(Netherlands),Lancaster University(UK)

c)Company/research institute of repute and student choice is permitted.

Students can opt for lectureship with a good NET score.

• Good positions in Industry (Biocon, Advinus, etc).

• Enrollment as a PhD candidate both in India and abroad.

For M.Sc. MBH Course, jobs in clinical laboratories are also available.

For M.Sc. BI, option of joining the industry or pursuing PhD.
