Student Testimonials
This is a completely unique take on the best years of my life. The program is like no other. It is fun, engaging, and the faculty is like family. I have a renewed love for languages, a more intense appreciation for linguistics, and all that make languages and cultures for what they are. Absolutely the best years of my life so far.

BA FLIS, 2017-20
For me, the first year of studies was one of the most amazing phases of my life. It is hard to summarize my experiences in a few lines. DoL has given me numerous opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities. Special lectures and events such as MILAP increased my enthusiasm. The courses are challenging but very enlightening and I got to learn something new with each course. The environment helped me in gaining knowledge as well as in improving my overall personality. I would like to thank my professors for their encouragement and support and making all the sessions interactive and interesting!

When I saw the MAHE campus for the first time, I was mesmerized and taken aback a little. It was almost like I was outside Karnataka. Of course, the university's reputation precedes it. The Department of Languages gives ample opportunities to students not only to grow professionally but also personally. It follows a unconventional approach to learning, which is fluid, flexible and suited to individual learning styles.

BA FLIS 2nd Year
My semester at MAHE was a successful experience. I could study and work in a familiar environment where I felt welcomed and where people did their best to let me discover the Indian culture, the projects going on at the Department and everyone working on them made me feel involved in the Department’s life. I admired the enthusiasm that the whole staff put into organising activities and events that contributed to enriching the Department’s academic programme.
