Dean and Professor of Community Medicine, KMC Mangalore, Dr. B. Unnikrishnan, and Additional Professor of Community Medicine, Dr. Prasanna Mithra P have figured among the top 2% of global scientists list - 2022, curated by Stanford University, USA.

They have been recognised for their lifetime contribution to public health and community medicine research and publication citations. 

They were felicitated by Mangalore Campus, MAHE, Manipal for achieving this honour on October 20, 2022. Dr. Dilip G Naik, Pro Vice Chancellor of Mangalore campus, MAHE, presided over the function.
