IEEE Engineering in Medicine and biology society (EMBS) is the world's largest international society of biomedical engineers. EMBS provides its members with access to the people, practices, information, ideas, and opinions that are shaping one of the fastest growing fields in science.

The club is interested in bioinformatics, clinical engineering, information technology, instrumentation and measurement, micro and nanotechnology, radiology, artificial intelligence and robotics. Through a range of engaging activities including workshops, seminars, hackathons, and competitions, EMBS Student Chapter Manipal empowers its members to explore emerging technologies, delve into interdisciplinary research, and tackle real-world healthcare challenges. 

We are made up of researchers and educators, technicians, clinicians, biomedical engineers and professionals from various medical domains with the aim of bridging the link between engineering principles and life sciences and creating innovations in healthcare technology for the benefit of the society.
