Overview

Our BA LLB (Hons.) programme focuses on enabling students to comprehend multi-dimensional legal systems with a clear objective of developing their abilities to enhance their written and oral skills persuasively, anticipate outcomes, and use research skills and analytical skills in problem-solving.

The curriculum is designed with a view to offer varied areas of specialization aligned with the requirements of legal profession and academics. MLS has a unique teaching pedagogy which is on the outcome based education and sharply focuses on legal skill development through specialised guest lectures, workshops, seminars, simulation exercises and value-added courses on legal drafting, mooting exercises, meditation, negotiation and arbitration to enable the students’ transition from theory to practice.

Eligibility Criteria & Admission Process

Students will be selected based on personal interview conducted by a panel comprised of faculty/experts. The candidate must have passed the 12 grade or Std. XII at the HSC/ISC/CBSE/State Boards in any stream (Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce, Sciences & management) with a minimum of 50% score from any recognized Board in India. Candidates writing the +2 examinations in the academic year 2022-2023 will be given provisional admission on the condition that they obtain minimum 50% score.

Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits. Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels grade not less than C for appearing in the entrance test.
