Effect of depth as a factor affecting organ uptake in Gamma camera - a phantom study

2011-01-05 Owais Afzal.

This study involves evaluating the effect of depth as a factor affecting percentage renal uptake in Gates protocol. This study helped to conclude for absolute quantitation the linear attenuation coefficient need not be 0.153/cm (narrow beam) always.

Preparation & quality control of radiolabelled meals used for gastric emptying studies (GES).

2012-01-05 Ramandeep Bhalla

This study was intended to standardize the meal (idli, dosa, egg and upma) having the best labelling efficiency and stability for a prolonged duration. All the meals had labelling efficiency above 95% of which idli was remarkably the best (99.18%). Study was duly approved by Institution ethics Committee of Kasturba Hospital Manipal.
