The Department of Physiotherapy, MCHP Manipal organized a two day workshop on "Role of Physiotherapy during Pregnancy, birth and beyond" on the 13th and 14th of September 2024. The inaugural function was presided by Dr G. Arun Maiya, Dean MCHP as Chief Guest and Dr. Akhila Vasudeva, Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Kasturba Medical College Manipal as Guest of Honour. The resource persons for the workshop were Dr. Preetha R, Associate Professor, Department of Physiotherapy, MCHP Manipal, Ms. Sriharika Jammula, Assistant Professor, SIMS College of Physiotherapy Guntur, Andhra Pradesh and Ms. Deanne Misquita, Physiotherapist and Lactation consultant at Fernandez hospital -Built for birthing.
