Special Lecture on "The Craft of Intelligence: Its Relevance and Importance" by Mr. MK Narayanan, formerly NSA and Governor, West Bengal

The focus of the special lecture was the relevance and importance of intelligence and its role in the security and strategic calculus of the nation states, with particular reference to India. It was underlined by the esteemed speaker that intelligence plays a critical role in country’s security and strategic planning. Structures for intelligence gathering and operations in the country have grown keeping in view the country’s defence and security requirements, since India attained its Independence in 1947.
