Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) started its operations in 1953 by establishing the first self – financing medical college as Public Private Collaboration model. Over the years various institutions have been added and in 1993 it was declared as Deemed to be University. Various National and International Rankings and the institution’s research contribution complemented in it been recognized as Institution of Eminence (IoE) by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

The IQAC Cell at Bengaluru Campus was formed soon after its inception and has been actively participating  and contributing data’s & reports to its parent Institution for the following activities such as for the NAAC Visit & accreditation, QS India University Rankings, NIRF Ranking, Times Higher Education, THE IMPACT RANKING, capturing the Institutions success in delivering the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UI Green Metric World University Ranking, Week Hansa Research Survey, Shanghai Ranking, Career 360, SCIMAGO Institutions Ranking, details for furnishing on Institution of Eminence (IoE), Submission of Annual Reports (AQAR) and preparation of Self – Assessment Report (SAR) for Academic Audit.
