On November 8, 2024, the Legal Services Clinic at Manipal Law School, MAHE Bengaluru, organised an impactful awareness program on the “Introduction to the Constitution of India and Fundamental Rights” for the housekeeping staff of the MAHE Bengaluru campus. This initiative was designed to empower participants by deepening their understanding of their rights and fundamental duties as citizens, contributing to a more informed and inclusive campus community.
The program was led by Dr. Rahul Mishra, Head of the Legal Services Clinic, and Deputy Head Dr. Ali Faran. Prof. Akshara Mehla, along with Student Convenors Ms. Rency Jain, Ms. Milan Prakash, and Ms. Sara Chugh, played a key role in ensuring the program’s success, supported by a dedicated team of student volunteers. The session was engaging and informative, leaving a lasting impact on the participants.
The housekeeping staff shared thoughtful reflections, expressing how the session broadened their understanding of their rights and responsibilities. This initiative is a significant step towards fostering inclusivity and empowerment, promoting a more informed and cohesive campus environment.
