‘Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta’ (ETEG)- Swachhata Hi Seva
NSS unit I and NSS unit II of MIT, MAHE observed ‘Ek Tareekh Ek Ghanta’ (ETEG) campaign under Swachhata Hi Seva 2023 with Janbhagidari at its core on 1st October 2023 at Students Plaza, MIT Campus. NSS volunteers cleaned the campus from student Plaza to MIT quadrangle AB1. Students visited the shops at student Plaza and collected the banned single use plastics and picked the garbage along the way towards AB1. On the way they visited the hostel blocks and collected plastic waste and created awareness on the harmful effects of plastic pollution and our roles and responsibilities in fighting this pollution. A total of 36 students and all program officers participated in the program.
