A five day online ATAL Faculty Development Program “Recent Advancements in Sustainable Energy Storage and Conversion” was organized recently by the Department of Chemical Engineering, MIT, MAHE, Manipal. The event was inaugurated on 25th Oct 2021 by Dr. Chandrashekhar Sharma, IIT, Hyderabad as the Chief guest and Dr M Premalatha, NIT Trichy as the guest of honour. The event was presided by Cdr. Dr. Anil Rana, Director, MIT.
Eminent researchers shared their experiences through thirteen technical sessions during the five days of the FDP. More than 130 participants from all over India attended this event.
The valedictory session held on 29th Oct 2021 presided was by Dr.Somashekhara Bhat, Joint Director, MIT Manipal. The event was hosted by Dr.Balakrishna Prabhu (Organizing Secretary; Dr. S.Shanmuga Priya (Coordinator) and Dr. Anindita Laha, (Co-cordinator) from the Department of Chemical Engineering, MIT.
