"MIT-Daan Utsav", The Joy of Giving was celebrated on 6th October 2021 at MIT Library auditorium. One of the DAAN UTSAV's activities, "Seva Ko Naman," highlights MIT security personnel's importance and contributions. Commander Dr. Anil Rana, Director, and Dr. Soma Shekhar Bhat, Joint Director, MIT, presided over the function and expressed gratitude to the security guards for their remarkable service. In addition, 150 security personnel were presented with kits comprising N-95 masks and snacks as a token of appreciation. The event was organized by the Voluntary Service Organization team, MIT, which included Dr. Naresh Kumar Mani (Faculty Coordinator), Dr. Vijendra Prabhu, Dr. Praveen Kumar, and other student volunteers. Dr. Nagaraj Katagi, Associate Director-Student Welfare, Dr. Murali Krishna, Secretary Faculty Club, Mr. Ashok Rao, and Mr. Ratnakar Samanth were also present.
