Vernacular name: ಉತ್ತರಣೆ (Uttarane)

Used for: Kashaya

Parts used: Stem cut, leaves.

Recipe: Stem cut is crushed into small slice along with little cumin & pepper, add water, boil it till half of water gets steamed off. The Kashaya extracts then mixed with milk and taken during viral fever. For better taste, instead of milk, salt & lemon shall be added to Kashaya extracts for drink.

Medicinal properties: Anti-diabetic, Anti-microbial, Detoxification.
