Vernacular name: ಶ್ರೀಗಂಧ (Shreegandha)

Used for: Thambuli

Parts used: Young leaves.

Recipe: Thoroughly washed young leaves are blended into paste along with grated coconut, little cumin, pepper and desired amount of water. Then butter milk is added to get desired consistency to have Thambuli drink. For better taste, a pinch of salt & lemon shall be added.

Medicinal properties: Analgesic (Specifically headache), Cholagogue
