Parts used: Young leaves.
Recipe: Young leaves crushed along with little cumin & pepper, add grated coconut. Then it is blended into paste. The paste is mixed with butter milk and add required amount of salt & lemon to have a Thambuli drink or it can also be taken along with rice.
Medicinal properties: Anti-diabetic, Anti-microbial, Anti-hypertensive.
