Vernacular name: ತುಳಸಿ (Thulasi)

Used for: Kashaya.

Parts used: Leaves.

Recipe: Thoroughly washed leaves is crushed and boiled with water, little cumin & pepper. Add milk to it and taken. A little jaggery/sugar shall be added while boiling for better taste.

Medicinal properties: Detoxification, Antitussive, Anti-microbial, Skin disorders, Tooth ache reliever
