Botanical name: Tinospora cordifolia (Willd.) Hook.f. & Thomson

Vernacular name: ಅಮೃತ ಬಳ್ಳಿ (Amrutha balli)

Habit: Climbing shrub

Used for: Kashaya.

Parts used: Stem cut along with leaves.

Recipe: The thoroughly washed leaves along with stem cut is crushed, chopped, and subjected to boiling with water. While boiling, little cumin, coriander & pepper shall be added. Ensure for thorough boiling and filter out solid material. It can be taken with pinch of salt & lemon or with milk & jaggery.
