For the management of water resources, MAHE scrupulously adheres to the 3 R’s: Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse.

MAHE works within the framework of the Energy & Environment Policy and considers the environment as a ‘living’ entity that we sustain and protect even as we go about our daily activities. As an extension to this, MAHE has created several measures to revitalize the water sources.

Rooftop Rainwater harvesting is done on the hostel blocks. And Groundwater is recharged using percolation pits.

An artificial pond is created with an area of 3.35 acres with a water capacity of 8 million liters for groundwater recharge.
