Counseling and psychotherapy sessions for students of Thalasseri

Department of Clinical Psychology has conducted counselling and psychotherapy sessions in eleven schools of Thalasseri municipality. Thalasseri is a small town on the Malabar Coast of Kerala, 21 km away from district headquarters, Kannur. It is one of the oldest municipalities. The program was organised on request of the Chairperson, Thalasseri Municipality and as approved by the Registrar, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

The intention of the program was to help students to handle exam related and substance use issues. Three teams, each consisting of a faculty and a M.Phil trainee handled the sessions. Details of team members are as follows:
