World Dietetics Day 2025- Nutrition related activity

As part of World Dietetics Day 2025, a series of engaging and interactive games was conducted to raise awareness about nutrition in a fun and educational manner. The program, organized for the technical and security staff of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, was held on 17/01/2025 at the Pediatric Seminar Hall, Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The lineup included:
- Spin the Wheel: Participants answered nutrition-related questions to win exciting prizes.
- Pick the Object: A fast-paced game where players showcased quick reflexes by identifying song-inspired objects.
- Guess the Food or Fruit: Emoji clues sparked curiosity, inspiring discussions around various foods and fruits.
- Balloon Challenge: A coordination test where participants balanced balloons while stacking cups, combining skill and speed.
- Food in the Box: A tactile guessing game that encouraged participants to identify hidden food items using only their sense of touch.
The event created a lively and vibrant atmosphere, seamlessly blending education with entertainment. It emphasized the importance of healthy eating and nutrition while fostering engagement, awareness, and a sense of community among participants.
