Dr. Raveendranath Nayak, Director SOM met Mr. M.G. George Muthoot, Chairman The Muthoot Group during the Manipal Academy of Higher Education Annual Alumni Meet held in Manipal recently. In the Meet, Manipal Academy of Higher Education felicitated Mr. M.G. George Muthoot as its Distinguished Alumnus of 2015. He received his engineering degree from Manipal Institute of Technology and is the 50th richest person in India with a net worth $1.14 Billion (2011 Forbes Asia Magazine Indian Rich List).
