School of Management celebrates Swacchta Hi Seva with great fervour

‘Swacchta Hi Seva’ was celebrated in the School of Management (SOM), Manipal Academy of Higher Education on the Thursday, 26th September, 2017 with great fervor and sincerity. As part of the celebration, Swacchta Pledge was administered to all the students of the Institute by the Dr. Raveendranath Nayak, Director, and Miss Anchal Purohit, a 1st year MBA student (the Winner in the Swacch Bharath Mission elocution competition held in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal) in batches. The copy of the ‘Swacchta Pledge’ was distributed to all the students and staff members so each one of them can give the pledge to 100 others. Dr. Raveendranath Nayak spoke to the students on the link between cleanliness, and the national progress and welfare of its citizens. Moreover, keeping our home, village, town, city, and the environment clean is a way to show our respect to Mother India (Bharath Mata). The program has been organized by Dr Yogesh Pai P., Associate Professor and Discipline Coordinator, Operations Management Discipline and supported by Mrs. Amitha Shetty, Junior Executive, and the administration staff members Miss Bhagya Shree, Mrs. Divya, and Mr. Sateesh.
