Seminar on ‘GST-Basics and Implementation’

The Centre for Advanced Research in Financial Inclusion and the Finance Club, School of Management, Manipal Academy of Higher Education organized a seminar on ‘GST-Basics and implemnetation’ on 5th August, 2017 at School of Management, Manipal at 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm. CA M.N.Pai, General Manager, Achal Industries, Mangalore was the resource person. Dr. Raveendranath Nayak, Director, School of Management, Manipal Academy of Higher Education presided over the function. CA M N Pai gave a talk on basics of GST and implementation challenges faced by the government. He highlighted the impact of GST on traders, manufacturers, importers and exporters. He discussed about various tax slabs in the GST. Ms. Rikhita Almeida compered the programme. Mr. Vivek Nayak introduced the resource person and Mr. Akshay Parabhu proposed vote of thanks.
