An Emerging Badminton star at Manipal

A bright star has emerged from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in the world of Badminton. India has shown to the world, in recent years, at large many emerging players such as Kashyap, Shrikanth in addition to Saina Nahwal. A promising young player has emerged from the portals of Manipal, Mr. Venkatesh Kamath. He is currently pursuing his MBA from School of Management. He has been assigned the 4th rank among the emerging badminton players of south zone. He has also bagged the 87th place in the National Badminton championships held at Coimbatore. Further has represented Manipal Academy of Higher Education at the National Level Badminton tournament. He is going to represent the Inter-Zonal Badminton tournament to be held at Gwaliar in the third week of October.
Dr. Raveendranath Nayak, the Director of School of Management felicitated Mr. Venkatesh Kamath recently at School of Management on the occasion of’ ‘Opening Day’ while welcoming back students of the Institute on the eve of the resumption of the classes.
