Dr. Vasudev R Pai, Assistant Professor Selection Grade, Department of Pharmacognosy, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, secured 3^rd Prize – Best Research Paper on Application of TLC/HPTLC in Pharma, Herbal & Other Chemical Analysis for the paper entitled “Rapid High-Performance Thin Layer Chromatographic quantitative estimation of caffeine in various foods and beverages”. The paper is co-authored by Rohit Raj, Dr. K S Chandrashekar, Ronak Biswas, and Dr. Aravind Pai. The award ceremony was conferred by ANCHROM Enterprises India Pvt. Ltd. Mulund, Mumbai. Anchrom Enterprises is one of the Pioneer in analytical instruments like TLC and HPTLC since 1978. The Award was instituted in the year 2006 in memory of the Late Dr. P. D. Sethi in recognition of his contribution to the field of pharmaceutical analysis. The award ceremony was conducted on 25 November 2022 at Hotel Shilpa Residency, Mulund Mumbai. Many researchers and awardees from across the country were present at the function. The award includes a trophy, check amount of  Rs. 15,000/- and certificate for each author.
