Dr Usha Y Nayak, Additional Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, received Award for Research Publications (ARP) in Pharmacy for 2021-22 from Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST), Government of Karnataka. The award is given to outstanding researchers and faculty who have published their research in reputed peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Dr Nayak is working in the area of nanoparticulate controlled drug delivery, QbD, molecular modeling, and computational simulation. She has published 116 research papers in reputed journals and has a Scopus h-index of 26. She has received various research grants from industries and government funding agencies and guided 07 PhD students.
