Curriculum Development Committee (CDC) Meeting

On 12 February 2016, a meeting of the Curriculum Development Committee of MCOPS was held in the presence of a representative from pharma industry, Dr Tadiparthi Ravikumar. All the heads of departments of MCOPS took part in the meeting. The committee this time looked at modifying the syllabi of pharmaceutical chemistry and quality assurance subjects to meet with the requirements of the industry. The head of pharmaceutical chemistry Dr Gautham Shenoy and the head of pharmaceutical quality assurance Dr Krishnamurthy Bhat made presentations. The meeting decided, after protracted discussion, to bring in effective changes in the curriculum so as to make it in tune with industry requirements.
