Yashas. M, Shreya G, Arjita N, and Anushka B of second-year BPharm secured third place in the Grand Challenge competition 2021. Under the mentorship of Dr. Alex Joseph (Dept of Pharmaceutical Chemistry MCOPS), the team explored innovative solutions for dealing with the waste generated from fish processing. This competition was conducted by the Manipal-Government of Karnataka Bio incubator to address the various issues as outlined by the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The competition was held on 1 December 2021 and is comprised of two rounds-the ideathon and the hackathon.
