Guest Lecture on Stress Management

On September 4, 2024, a guest lecture on stress management for first-semester BSc nursing students by Dr. Toni Bewley, Adjunct Faculty from Edgehill University, UK, was conducted. The Department of Fundamentals of Nursing and Pillar III: Expanding Reach and Internationalization coordinated the session.
Dr Toni explained the importance of stress management, the causes of stress, and how to prevent the stress that occurs during the academic journey. She also conducted a few group activities that encouraged the students to participate actively and express their opinions on their various stresses and how to relieve them and achieve a positive learning environment.
A total of 155 students attended the session. The session was attributed to Sustainable Development Goal 4, Quality Education.
