Inauguration of Global Training and Education Center (GTEC) Manipal
Lt. Gen. (Dr) M.D Venkatesh, Vice-Chancellor, MAHE Manipal inaugurates the first of its kind a GTEC center at Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal for language training to Nurses and Nursing students in IELTS/OET which is totally funded and also envisioning at expanding beyond Manipal. With the increasing demand for skillful professionals across the globe, Manipal ventures to bring a standard center to cater with quality and dedication on par with the international standards.
Dr Anice George, Dean MCON, Manipal emphasized on the need for global quality workforce and preparing graduates for international trends. Manipal has taken this baby step to see that quality education and work culture improves among the budding nurses both for the country as well as international placement.
Dr Raghu AR, Director international pledged to pay every bit of attention towards international collaborative learning activities for nursing graduates to enhance their capabilities for greater employability internationally.
Dr Raj Murali, Director & Dr MK Shashidhara, Deputy lead for the education & quality GTEC HEE Global Medical Program has given Manipal a pathway through the MoU of developing the first model GTEC center at Manipal. The center coordinated by Dr Elsa Sanatombi Devi has persistently strived towards creating awareness, training and achieving the goals.
