The Student Nurses' Association 2023–24 The education committee organized an installation competition on November 9, 2023, between 2:00 and 4:00 pm. A total of 12 students participated in the competition in groups of two each. The groups were given two hours to prepare their models and two minutes to explain their respective themes to the judges. Every group put their imaginations to work creating models based on timely subjects such as conflict, social media usage, pollution, traffic laws, global warming, and waste management. Dr. Tessy Treesa Jose, Associate Dean, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, and Dr Melita Sheilini, Assistant Professor - Selection Grade, Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, MCON, MAHE, judged their ideas. First place was bagged by Ms S L Priyanka, 4th year BSc Nursing and Ms. Cimona Nazareth, 3rd year B.Sc. Nursing, second place by Ms. Sharon Vinola, 1st year BSc Nursing and Ms. Flavian Dsouza, 4th year BSc Nursing. Third place was bagged by Ms. Vina Tina Dsouza and Ms. Raksha Nayak, 4th year BSc Nursing.
