REPORT ON ETHNIC DAY CELEBRATION

On 19th May 2023. the SNA Cultural Committee organized an ‘Ethnic Day’ celebration at Dr. TMA Pai Hall from 5.00 to 7.00 pm. It was a resounding success, filled with vibrant cultural performances and enthusiastic participation. The event aimed to celebrate the diversity and rich cultural heritage of our college community. The schedule was meticulously planned to showcase various traditional dances, group performances, and a fashion show. The event was graced by Dr. Judith A Noronha, the Dean of MCON. The program commenced with a warm introduction and welcome by Ms. Jeeva and Ms. Nandana, the hosts of the event. They set the stage for an exciting evening ahead. Dr. Judith A Noronha delivered an inspiring inaugural address, highlighting the importance of embracing cultural diversity and fostering a sense of unity among the students. The students showcased their exceptional dancing skills through captivating group dance performances demonstrating their dedication and coordination. The students and teachers of Manipal College of Nursing showcased their style and creativity through an exciting fashion show. The runway came alive with a dazzling display of traditional and contemporary outfits. Ms. Rhea Rachel Philip, the Cultural Chairperson, expressed gratitude to all the participants, guests, and attendees for their contribution in making the Ethnic Day celebration a memorable event.
