The resource person of the workshop Mr Roshan David Jathanna, Assistant Professor -Selection Grade, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, MIT, Manipal, commenced the session after the opening ceremony and he emphasised the importance of having hands-on experience in developing an app and introduced different software/tools such as flutter, android studio, VS Code etc. Mr Roshan also oriented on the process of developing an app and conducted practical sessions to the participants using step-by-step approach with the motive to develop an app by themselves. However, follow- up sessions will be planned to refine their skills in consequent weeks. The workshop was well appreciated by the participants and felt benefited by having practice sessions. Twenty six participants attended the program. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs Pavithra Nayak, Master of ceremony of this workshop. The overall program was co-ordinated by Dr Jeyalakshmi K, Assistant Professor – Senior scale, Chairperson, Innovation, IPR, & Consultancy vertical of Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal with the support and guidance from members. This program contributes to the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the goals.
